  • Reading opinions like yours and far more so when reading the unhinged stuff ranted on reddit and their forums I truly feel that people still have little understanding of what Early access actually means.

I think the current community meltdown shows GGG should have gone down the path of a large closed beta with only truly change interested poe2 players.

The huge amount of people complaining with statements such as “And THIS is what you abandoned poe1 for???!” and similar sentiments shows me quite clearly that many of the loudest are disgruntled poe1 players and those who want poe2 to be an slightly different poe1 instead of a different game.

    It’s quite unfortunate.

  • Agree.

My worry is that if ggg were to take the massive rants in reddit and their own forum as user feedback basis, poe2 would soon lose the freshness and turn into poe1 with extra steps.

As much as I value user feedback in general, I hope Jonathan will stick to his vision on this and rather cater poe1 and poe2 towards different target groups.

Right now it feels like poe1 players are venting their anger at not getting more poe1 content in a sort of brigarding manner.

  • This is incorrect.

Give AI a few more years and ots a great teacher for adults.

Baker and lawyer? Easy. As soon as AI get capable robot bodies they can do “homemade food” with robotic efficiency. And knowing legal texts and such stuff? They are machines. Indexing, cross referenceing, contextually identifying and comparing large data will be super easy to them once they get more memory and no l9nger hallucinate information.

    AI is in its infancy.

People who say AI won’t get as good or better than us humans at basically anything will be in for a hard awakening in about 10 years.

The humans are basically comparing their industry best against an AI baby learning to walk when looking at potential of growth.
