I saw a Beehaw post about their costs for hosting and it was close to what you are saying.

My last question was about if a server for an instance has to store every other instances on Lemmy, but I think it just has to get/send information to the other instances. Still learning!

Kind of a dumb question, but if a user browses “All”, do they see Beehaw posts and Lemmy.world posts as if they were on the respective instance?

Weird coincidence but I also had specific Jellyfin-related questions today. Should we start a community about it? :)
