Getting worse how? Reaction times will get worse. But not at a dramatic rate. You will likely have less time to practice or play so that muscle memory skillset won’t be as strong.

But for example, I’m far better at puzzle games. But I’m not even going to touch a game like valorant. Last really competitive game I was into was probably overwatch when it came out. But part of that is just not wanting to sit there grinding out parts of my play to get better. And not wanting to voice chat with really… Annoying people.
