Ich habe da einen einfachen Trick: einfach nie Fusion 360 ausprobieren, dann lernt man direkt den “richtigen” workflow in FreeCAD.

Ich stimme dir komplett zu, bei manchen vermeintlich einfachen Dingen ist FreeCAD einfach komplett unintuitiv und umständlich.

Aber Zeichnung auf Fläche erstellen sollte in der PartDesign Workbench wirklich sehr einfach sein. Du musst glaube ich erst die Fläche auswählen und dann “Neue Skizze” drücken.
Das ist denke ich auch so ein Fall, wo der Workflow einfach unterschiedlich, aber nicht schlechter, ist. Man ist dann eben die andere Reihenfolge gewöhnt.

I see flathub lists an makemkv add-on for VLC - is that installed? I’m not sure what codecs the VLC flatpak even includes or if it suffers from the same licensing restrictions.

It’s about control. Websites cannot control the browser or browser addons. The browser makes it harder to track and control the user. An app by definition allows more hardware access, even if modern mobile OS can control it pretty good. But then again, most users allow everything anyways.
