This is such an underrated comment. Linux hates, hates, hates NVidia. I’ve spent ~24 hours trying to get two applications running, both of which consistently complain about my GPU and Hardware Acceleration.

Eek I just finished installing Manjaro to test it out.

@Ozzy Exactly what I was thinking. Kind of a PiTA if everyone needed to do that, but maybe an excuse to throw up an open-source script on github for it.

@Ozzy @rtxn I just thought of this, could one, create symbolic links that point to /lib (for ex.) to “repoint” the directory a package gets installed to?

Not sure if this would work, but was curious if someone’s attempted it before.

@Linuturk @PseudoSpock My problem here is that I don’t understand the purpose of flatpak when Deb seems to have everything from my experience, but I’d love to be proven wrong.
