That depends on what kind of G-Sync monitor we are talking about.
The newer “G-Sync validated” monitors are using the same base Agesa standard as freesync does, which is definitely compatible with AMD cards. The older “proper” G-Sync monitors with the physical chip inside however is probanly not gonna work.
