See, when I do that in Edge(on pc) it updates continuously. Every single post from all across the fediverse (or my subs) starts flooding my feed.
Just starts basically auto-scrolling forcing posts down, forcing pics closed, and Edge starts throwing a fit with “high cpu usage” messages.
1 - Good ol’ PS1. Moved in to a party pad with my cousin and a friend. One of them got it somewhere. If it wasnt second hand, it was still all beat to hell lol. We had 2 games (maybe 3?). And Twisted Metal was the go to. Except it was all beat to hell too! So we’d sit around for hours just hitting reset and power and trying to clean the disc… Until finally it would play! And then we’d sit around for a few more hours driving like maniacs.
2 - I could never pick just one. Worse, I play to my moods. So, like some days I hate all high speed action, and then the next day I hate all slow puzzlers. Tho, I just about always hate sports. bleh. I mean, right now Im in love with Guardians of the Galaxy. Started NG+ right away. I dont do that often. It’s great! And I’ll forget about it next week lol. Im horrible.
3 - nah, bad things tend to happen when people take my advice.
4 - This is kinda a double awesome memory. See, back to that PS1, the roommate I replaced in that apt brought by MGS. Brand spanking new in the wrapper. Id never heard of it. He explains a bit about what it was supposed to be. I say “cool”. He offers to lend it to me right there! That was just huge to me. And then I spent the next week or so making one of the best gaming memories I have.
The double is that I didnt realize at the time, only found out a few years ago now, it was literally release day of the game. And all those years later I just appreciated that guy all the more. Wish I knew where you were Little Bitch Matt, because I never properly thanked you for that. And I think it meant more to me than you’ll ever know.
5 - See 2. But Im just about done NG+ and I’ll probably be jumping back into the Assassin’s Creed Chronicles tonight. On the 2nd one now, whichever one is 2nd.
I used the streaming for years when it was psnow. The only problems I ever had were on my own home network. Any time a streaming game got laggy or I straight up couldnt connect: it was always something in my house. Too many people trying to watch 4k Netflix while I was trying to play… dad’s new pc hoggin all the bandwidth to do backups right after supper time… hell, even the ps4 trying to download an update will mess with the ps4 trying to stream at the same time.
All that being said: I dont think premium is worth it unless you want the classic PS1/2 catalogue, or you plan on doing a ton of streaming-play on a pc. Because that’s the only difference from Extra really.
Extra however is a goldmine. Every game Ive played this year was from Extra. I havent even touched the other free monthly games that come with the cheapest Essentials yet. Just a pile of AAA games since December. Miles Morales, Tsushima, Guardians of the Galaxy right now…
So far all my .ml subs have been pending, none have gone thru. But they are all showing in my Subscribed feed. Im guessing it’s just growing pains this week. Or maybe even .ml is watching to see what new users will do this week? I imagine there’s gonna be a whole bunch of reddit refugees that’ll start an account and then forget about it in a few days.
Yeah… I understand all stuff after “However”. It’s that first part about linking to the proper instance of a particular post that is throwing me off.

I thought it was working alright in Edge on iphone. It was definitely looking better then old.reddit does on any iphone browser.
But you can get the Mlem app thru the Test Flight app on iphone. It’s still being developed so it’s a bit rough. But it’s showing a whole lot of potential.
Ha! Same exact thing on the sh.itjust.works instance lol. And it’s a good sticky! It was the perfect little intro to this fediverse. But yup, now it just adds like 9 finger scrolls just to basically use the app.
But worse: Im really here to read. That was the big pull of reddit for me, and Im hoping I can find communities here to fill that void. I wanna read long posts and stories, and then I want to make overly long text posts to talk about those stories.
We really need the titles-only options.
Yup. It’s feeling/looking really good for memes and pics and short text posts.
But as soon as you come across a multi paragraph text post and it messes up the whole flow of the app. Especially if you didnt wanna read that particular post in the first place.
They just stopped hosting porn. Dont know why OP is asking but quite a few people were scrambling for a replacement a couple of weeks ago on reddit.
