  • Love it. You can make the scene out in your head pretty perfectly I believe. It’s a foggy and rainy evening, this time of year. Someone’s cycling across a bridge, enjoying the sound of the falling rain drops in the silence. Could also be Nessie from Loch Ness but I’m not certain.

  • Bought the game in it’s first hours on Steam and got disappointed after one playthrough since there wasn’t much to it. I even took some days off work because hype. It got updated, yes, but their goals are questionable. Too much hype from their devs (or PR, i dunno their roles), focus on co-publishing to stay in your view, and their roadmap for Wandering Village was just disappointing from the start. Can you please finish your game before co-publishing with whoever or working on your second or third game.

Started a new playthrough recently but didn’t get far because after all the updates it’s just the same in a different color, maybe more streamlined and modern but it’s still sad.

Oh, don’t forget the merch. I like the merch but it’s way too soon.

  • After a coworker showed me some reaction videos of lgbtq+ folks and other minorities where they were screaming, crying and all in all scared for their lives while said coworker was shedding tears of enjoyment, schadenfreude and utter laughter, I have to think about Trump voters smiling weirdly while they read headlines like that. It feels like Pandora’s Box has been opened. (context: post election)

One of the people was smashing their head against a wall repeatedly, some were crying while pouring their heart out (acoustically not understandable) and when a black woman was on screen the coworker was like “SHE THINKS SHE’LL BE A SLAVE L-M-F-A-O”.

Even I as a supporter get bullied. I don’t even dare to think about the consequences for most minorities, it’s gonna be hideous what’s to come. It’s kinda fun though listing trumps and musks flaws and idiotic choices and whatnot for my coworkers. I’m doing what I can, it’s hard not to empower or enable them, though, since their minds work oh so differently from humane people.
