This is exactly the result. No matter how advanced AI gets, unless the singularity is realized, we will be no closer to some kind of 8-hour workweek utopia. These AI Silicon Valley fanatics are the same ones saying that basic social welfare programs are naive and un-implementable - so why would they suddenly change their entire perspective on life?

Kind of overkill, but I use an iPad mini with a matte screen protector so it’s easier on the eyes. Super convenient to pull from any source you can think of (I also use it for the New Yorker app), and it’s still an iPad too.

I really liked book 4, it felt closer to a return to the original Annihilation (though I also loved the more controversial 2 and 3).

System Shock 2 is totally playable still, especially with the HD texture mod - I recommend it to anyone interested. Played it for the first time ever last year.
