It’s to galvanize part of their base. “The last one was stolen from us, don’t let it happen again.”

That might even be an app store requirement.
Some fairly older players on this list. Are these just guys to help facilitate a better game so that the prospects can be watched in a more competitive environment?
Dalano Banton*
I wasn’t wow’d at first, thinking I’d prefer JD or even Yam over him. If PG depth goes White -> Payton -> Banton then I like the idea of him as a guard that comes in and just holds the line. Reminds me of the role that Wanamaker had.
I don’t love Payton as the backup PG, but we’ll see how it goes.
I’m shocked that after this playoff performance Marcus is the one to go. At times he was the only one fighting out there. I’ve always been, possibly naively, against shooters that don’t contribute much else, so I would have loved to move on from Brogdon.
Really hope there’s more in the works. If Marcus is the only one moved the optics make it seem like they think he was a major issue with the performance and I don’t personally believe that.
I’d like to see Brogdon and Grant used to get guys that alter the way team functions. I don’t trust White as the primary ball handler (or the Jays). I actually really like Grant, but I understand the value he could bring back in a S&T. I’m really hoping there’s a PG out there that doesn’t get the buzz they deserve (a la White) that they can trade Brogdon and the new pick for.
Anecdotally, I’ve found that answer to be one.
