Je kunt vast van alles waar je geld mee zou kunnen verdienen. Of misschien kun je iets bijleren om geld te verdienen.
Misschien laat ik je schrikken nu? Dat is niet mijn bedoeling. Ik sta aan jou kant. Alleen om je te helpen…
Denk er eens aan om voor jezelf te gaan werken. Bepaal zelf je toekomst. Stel je niet afhankelijk op. Je bent een zelfstandig mens. Accepteer hun NEE niet, jij weet wel beter.

1·1 year agoMy advise, for switches, is to use the latest version available on your vendors website. If it is not available, just use the stock version on the device itself.
In your specific case of HP2524, HP states that: We are sorry this product has no Drivers and Software.

I would use the word people instead of fools, because even the smartest people can be misled.
Also, for some people freedom is very important even if it cost them dearly. Other people just want convenience and luxury, and don’t mind living in a golden cage.
You really have to make your own decisions in life. What makes you tick?
This summer I use Linux on my desktop for 25 years. What do you think the first years looked like? My first laptop took me 3 weeks to get it properly installed with Suse back in 1998. For the last 10 years installing and configuring whatever distro is a piece of cake. Ofcourse soms things are not as you want them to be: the good thing is you can change everything in FOSS, and if it does not excist you can create it. People complaining at Linux Desktop are realy complaining on their own limitations. Don’t complain! Not about yourself. Not about the Linux Desktop. Never ever give up! Make your list of whats not working for you. And than work and change until your list is history. Keep your head up strong. You’ll never walk alone!
It depends on why you are using FOSS now?
For me its a principle choice of freedom and privacy since 1998, so I cope with the downsites on the desktop as much I can.
I try to run Wayland if possible, otherwise I fall back to good ole X.
I run Debian for all my homelab servers: stable, fast, (community) support, and secure.

I use Flatpak and AppImages mostly. I am using Debian, but sometimes an app is just to old for me, and than I use a flatpak. For testing and temp. use I use AppImages. If more people around me would use Linux I could use AppImages as mobile apps to carry around.
