Remember that interviews go both ways. You are trying to see if this company is a place you want to spend half your waking hours. Ask the interviewer where they see themselves in 5 years. Watch their reaction closely. Do they sigh, or hesitate? You might get a telling bit of honesty out of them.
Fixed! Thank you.
Tried? If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. Get back out there and order another burrito! Don’t let the burrito win. You can do it! We’re all pulling for you!
I would be attending the local beekeepers’ club meetings, but the meeting time conflicts with another regular activity of mine.
And getting a bat box is also on my to-do list. So many things to do, and never enough time!
I will have to look into mason bees. I have heard of them but never read up on them.
I was gifted a flow hive and neglected to source a brood of honey bees over the winter, so it’s empty at the moment. If I’m lucky I might “catch” a new queen and her entourage later in the season when they are splitting off from established hives and looking for a new home.
It’s you, me, and Sasquatch just chillin’ up here in the best place on earth. 🌊⛰️🌲☀️

(No, I’m not calling it Creo. I’m old and stuck in my ways.)
That sucks. Best of luck to you both going forward. Fuck cancer.
I have noticed a distinct lack of bees in my garden. My lilac bush and fruit trees are usually humming in springtime. The local beekeepers tell me that the unusual winter we had was hard on the hives, and a lot of bees died. I hope they rebound!
Unique experience: This isn’t totally unique, but a local ice cream shop sells affogato (ice cream with a shot of espresso poured over the top). I need to get one soon and eat it outside in the sunshine!
Awesome links. I would love to see the second one with updated data.
Ah, good point. I should read the whole chart before I comment.
The Sky Warden holds a special place in my heart. In a world of high-tech high-dollar everything, I love that a simple crop duster won a bid.
I heard it’s a avian virus, being spread by a Flock of Seagulls making a Journey across Asia.
