@[email protected] thanks for posting about it! contributions very appreciated! https://codeberg.org/FediverseIconography/pages/issues if you find any icons of fediverse projects that need to be added feel free to open issues or tag me!
@[email protected] @[email protected] here’s the thread that originally lead to @[email protected]’s suggestion of the asterism https://social.wake.st/@liaizon/108974105137722178
There have been a number of other places that this idea have been discussed but no not a formal study posted anywhere. Though that would be interesting
@[email protected] @[email protected] @[email protected] I meant the page https://symbol.fediverse.info but I see what you mean I somehow didn’t realize the purpose of the explorations were that narrow. This initiative started as a study of issues that were arising from the use of :fediverse: and how the image works in various contexts and what to do about it. It actually started as a poll.
Hey @[email protected], maybe you would be interested in including @[email protected] new initiative in @[email protected]?
@gedaliyah @stefan this might be a good link for your fediverse research portal
@carlnewton @wakest tagging @Edent directly in this thread just incase (:
@cerement came across this video on youtube and had the fediverse discussion leaded into the YT interface through https://github.com/Xyl-AU/Reddit-Comments-for-YouTube (which seems to be removed?! even though I still have it installed)
happy to see an active discussion on this side about this video!
@maegul @Subversivo @fediverse @fediversenews I’m waiting for Uxn / Varvara myself
@christian @fediverse @stux I am not sure what exactly you are questioning? just that some admins have more then one mastodon instance?
@MicroWave this is pretty nuts
@electric_nan @Maddison hadn’t heard of myanonymouse, I wish there was a way to check if they have something before going through the request signup process
One of the main devs of Lemmy (@nutomic) just announced a federated wiki project called Ibis
@wakest I like what Jay Graber has been saying about this. I think her take is much better then what most have answered to these sorts of questions…
@fediverse_report was already following you so when I saw your question I double checked…
@fediverse_report @maegul it makes it to my instance if that helps?
@[email protected] @[email protected] just got 83%… I feel like I should have gotten all of these tho, the Linux distro funding PeerTube I totally didn’t know about
