Yeah, but the general smartphone user is gonna want the weather where they are right now. And that means the phone needs location data and pings a server somewhere often enough to get “real-time” weather updates.

I’m a tinkerer at heart but when I put a weather widget on my home screen, I want it updated automatically. I don’t want to have to manually refresh it every time I want up to date weather at that moment, especially on my watch.

This new-fangled Preach My Gospel manual is for coddling youngsters who can’t handle memorization.

Oh god, the thought of having to memorize not just bits and pieces, but ENTIRE CHAPTERS of scriptures gave me incredible anxiety. I absolutely suck at memorization and need to refer to notes I’ve written out years ago (general stuff, like specific commands for server maintenance).

Big phones sell though, that’s the issue. Apple sold the mini version of the iphone right alongside the bigger models and it sold like shit. The people who want smaller phones are in a minority.

Well thanks to the massive influx of users over the last week, Jerboa has been getting steady updates, one of which is going to be fixing just that.
