Air Fryer. Its not quite as good as grilled, but still great and more convenient. Quicker than boiling and better than microwaving.

Looks like Arizona mostly missed the rain from Hillary. Too bad.
These are super simple, take under 20 minutes, and people love them.
For a dinner: Baked salmon with lemon, butter, garlic and dill. Saute some spinach on the side. For a lunch: Sandwich. Crusty baguette, a soft cheese of some sort, slices of green apples. Maybe a cured meat like prosciutto if you are feeling that. Takes no time at all to make but feels fancy. For a breakfast: Oatmeal with guava paste. It turns pink which is fun, then toast some slivered almonds in a bit of butter and server them hot on top.
I first joined Lemmy.ml and beehaw because when I joined those were pretty much the only active English language instances. I moved to lemmy.ca because Lemmy.ml started going down more when redditors showed up, and I didn’t like beehaw’s “defederate now and sort it out later” attitude. Plus I figured going with a mid sized instance is best. They aren’t going to get overloaded because they are too big, and aren’t going to shut down due to lack of interest either.
Go now. I had an ear infection on a Friday night and didn’t see anyone until the next day. It ended with some permanent hearing loss for me.
Having watched several of these “Texas Donut” or 5-over-1 style apartments get built on, or just off of Central recently it amazes me how much space they have to dedicate to parking, even though they are right on the light rail. I am for anything that lowers those requirements.
Tinykin is so good. It has 3d platformer and Metroid Prime influences alongside pikmin. I fully completed it and enjoyed every minute.
Assuming hotels within a reasonable distance are all full, I drive to stay with family. If that won’t work for some reason then it is going to public airconditioned spaces during the day, and sleeping outside in wet sheets at night. I have done some camping in seriously high temperatures, and a wet sheet or blanket really does help, especially with how dry it is in AZ.
I got a Sony PRS-505 from late 2007, around the time of the first kindle. At the time it was amazing to be able to travel with just that instead of travel guides and multiple novels like I did before taking up weight and space. That was also like two years prior to me getting a smart phone. Since then I have had two different kindles, but they did not have as much of an impact as that sony ereader did.
