Very nice collection. We have a few cross over. What’s your opinion of Voidfall?
Same idea: restore a backup to the automatically selected database in the drop down instead of a new database (Thanks Sql Server 2000 entreprise manager!)
Overwrote a client production database that the sysadmin couldn’t find any backup for, two hours before I went on a two week vacation.
Fun times.
If you think the Nhl will relocate/allocate a team to Québec because they gave the Kings $7M, you’re delusional. There’s not a million people in Québec and there are multiple big metro areas in the USA that could host a team (hello Houston). As long as bettman is commissioner, they will never have à team.
Also, Legault is not doing that to help bring a team. He’s pandering to the hopes of Québec people. He’s doing that because he’s Falling in the polls in that area after backpedaling on digging a tunnel to the South shore and subsequently losing a partial élection in Québec city.
Facebook Marketplace, to dedicated groups. I don’t like using Facebook, but it’s selling pretty quickly everytime.
Otherwise, there’s a FLGS that does used games sales every season. You bring your games and if they sell, you get credits to use at the store.
That’s pretty much what a tree is. But then it dies and burns/decomposes and it goes back in the atmosphere. It’s temporary storage.
The beauty of these words is their compositionability(?). “Mon hostie de calice de tabarnak m’a t’en crissé une” is a great example of using these words as nouns, adjectives and verbs. They can even be adverbs (calice, calicer, calicement, criss, crisser, crissement, etc.)
On their own they’re not really insult though.
Also disliking “those guys” as a generalised statement is a pretty racist statement, ironically.
That I will never be able to master the Haskell programming language.
It is by design.
Decades of sabotage. It was managed by and for the doctors. Under the threat that they would leave the province, we gave them everything. They operate as private entities within the hospitals and can bill whatever medical acts they want with little surveillante.
My kid would need an appointement with a specialist: the waiting list was six months. Or I could see THE SAME FUCKING DOCTOR at his privately owned clinic the next week.
Obviously, when you’re ill and have the mean and access, you will pay. In the end, it’s the poors that pay the price of a worse service.
I could rant about Bonjour Santé and their shady businees practice, but let’s just say the private sector has its foot, and more, in the door for a long time by now.
