I’ve been involved with a live local music radio show for years. It’s a beast to organize and make happen, but it’s so cool to give folks the opportunity to have their music heard live.
Holy smokes! What an incredible project. Thanks so much for sharing. This should keep me busy for a while. While there are plenty of bands I know, there are just as many there that I don’t, and that’s maybe more exciting.
AC Odyssey is so beautiful. I still have to finish the Atlantis DLC at some point. I ran into an annoying bug that was blocking me.
I’ve been thinking about reinstalling Fallout 4 this weekend to play through Far Harbor and work on settlements.
But I’ll more than likely just play Chrono Trigger and Cave Noire for a while and that will be it.
MDJ is not fun at all. The pacing is horrible, the NPCs are annoying and bland, and the puzzles are either super simple or literally impossible given the tools at your disposal.
I still need to finish watching this. Got halfway through before I had to go out.
The new album is really good and I can’t wait to see them this fall. I know in today’s market it probably won’t be more than a blip, but God, I wish it would bring back some legitimate rock.
Vinyl: Pearl Jam - Rearviewmirror Vol. 2 - I Am Mine
Pearl Jam collection almost complete. Got lucky and found this half priced because it had a couple creases. In the past few years, this song has really resonated with me and become a favorite.
CD: Various - Woodstock '94 - Melissa Ethridge - I’m the Only One
I was browsing used rock compilations and figured that, for better or worse, Woodstock 94 was a huge moment when I was 18. This compilation kind of sucks though. In Europe they got a James track and we got fucking Jackyl. Anyway, peak Ethridge.
Pearl Jam playing “State of Love & Trust” and “Baba O’Riley” at the MTV Singles premier party. Holy shit. It really solidified my love of the band and to this day captured everything I love about them.
A few that I don’t see mentioned …
We have a new Pearl Jam album coming up at some point.
If it were a week ago, I would have said the new Extreme album. Now that it’s out, all I can say is if you like real guitar rock, give it a listen. It is SO. GOOD.
