In my opinion, it’s okay. It’s pixel art that does its job of depicting things the player can recognize. It just looks bad. The colours in particular are… not pleasant.

I’m no expert but I think there are (or should be) exemptions in the case of crime
I think I fall into this category, but it’s complicated. How much I believe in the supernatural depends on how much the belief will benefit me in the moment. Most of the time, it only goes as far as making jokes, coping with grief, and explaining weird but mundane occurances. There are a few beliefs where I’m more into them, such as the idea of reincarnation, but I’m still aware that there’s no scientific evidence to support them and that “brains are weird” is the best explanation for them. In the end, it’s about what helps me feel better, and only me. When I mysteriously lose an object, sometimes it’s fun to say a ghost moved it. When I’m sad about the passing of a pet, imagining their spirit frolicking in pet heaven is comforting. I don’t really believe in these things with my whole heart. Sometimes it’s just nice to pretend.
This is heartbreaking. The fire was an act of arson! What hateful person would do such a thing?
A better comment would have been like “this reminds me of Technology Connections’ Alec Watson, he talks a lot about how much he hates blue LEDs. Here’s a video [link]”
It makes the same reference, but provides more context, more content, and a new point of discussion.
This kind of low effort comment should have stayed on Reddit.
I really like that idea! A user’s most recent behaviour is the most important to be able to judge at a glance.
Oh, which forum is it?
I don’t see why we can’t have both. They don’t contradict each other.
People are humanizing computer programs way too much, and thus, we have arguments like this. An AI language model is not one of those sci-fi AIs that live in spaceships and talk to the crew. AI language models do not have individuality, creativity, consciousness, or free will. They are computer programs doing math to turn inputs into outputs.
I find her helpful in combat as long as you don’t pilot her. I like to give her a frost emitter on one arm and a monster horn on the other.
The safest and most effective way to prevent Meta from destroying ActivityPub is to never give them so much as an inch. They WILL embrace, extend, extinguish if given the chance. Defederate from ALL Meta-owned instances. Be vocal about it. Tell other instances to do the same.
It’s a knee-jerk disgust reaction towards any group different from the norm. Furries are also overwhelming queer, so homophobia ties a lot into it.
Here’s to more progress in the future! 🥂
You made me rickroll myself. Never Gonna Give You Up is so iconic online, how could it not be the first thing that comes to mind?
Second one that came to mind was Somebody That I Used To Know.
Frankly, I don’t watch music videos, so internet memes are the majority of my exposure to them.
I’m doing my part. It’s a hard habit to break, but it’ll be worth it. If this interpretation of the system catches on, then there should be less echo chambers as a result, because different perspectives will be accepted and not shunned.
Exactly this. I see a lot of people suggesting the fediverse be more centralized because they’re so used to centralized platforms.
Is it that hard to understand that a brain with a structural impairment will respond to a chemical differently than a brain without that structural impairment?
Doesn’t bother me any, so it’s all okay in my books :)
Not being able to post due to errors is annoying. I can’t post anything!
