Yeah I don’t see LockMart and Raytheon taking that sitting down. Musk thinks he has power, he doesn’t really. The MIC runs American finance.
I may or may not be any number of unfathomable beings.

You’ve got more faith in the purchasing public than I do, then. I’ve been watching them buy a new copy of the same COD slop every year for a fresh $60 basically since I’ve been old enough to buy my own video games.
Because Rockstar is going to do it and sell a gorillion copies, so it’s basically a guarantee that everyone else will jump on the opportunity. And once every game is $100, what are people going to do, stop buying video games? I find that unlikely anymore. They’ll bitch and complain about it and sales might drop a little on average but studios will survive. And now we have a new price floor set forever.
I missed System Shock 1 and 2 on release (I was 1 and 6 years old, respectively) but I’ve recently been playing the SS1 remake and, holy shit, this is an incredible game.
I think the original is held back by its UI but the actual game itself, which the remake pretty much preserves almost one to one, is incredibly solid even by modern standards. I’ve been super hooked on it and it’s opened my eyes to an entire lineage of games that I’ve not paid attention to - System Shock 2, Deus Ex, and Prey are the big three that I have my eye on when I finish with SS1 Remake.
Ah yes, the knife gun.
You think you guys can come remodel the White House again? Nobody does it right like Canada did.
Unfortunately, you literally don’t want Tesla’s trademarks. Their cars are demonstrably worse than any other EV option including the super cheap Chinese ones. They have zero value outside of having Musk’s name attached.
Cooperation is pussy liberal shit, a real American dies alone
Each of them personally wants to be Putin and cannot comprehend the idea that they won’t be at the top of the pile when the ashes fall.

Founder Jack Dorsey has abandoned Bluesky citing a lack of continued faith in the project and current CEO Jay Graber has primarily worked with cryptocurrency. My hopes are not high. Besides which, even if they do everything right and gain a huge following, Musk or Zuckerberg will just want to buy them out and our current government will allow them to do that.
Not being literal Nazis is definitely a mark in their favor, but the whole point of this argument in the first place is that free, open source, self hosted federated software is RIGHT HERE. We’re on it RIGHT NOW. With everyone abandoning major platforms because they’re full of Nazis, this is perhaps the single best opportunity we’re ever going to have to retake the internet for ourselves en masse. Which everyone is totally ignoring in favor of hopping onto the next corponet.
I’m not excusing Musk for shit, and I’m not accusing Bluesky of being as bad or worse than Nazis. That’s silly. I’d rather see users move to Bluesky than stay on X. But I’d much rather see them move to Mastodon. Corporations at large, especially social media corps have proven time and again that they can’t be trusted, so… don’t. Take back your own internet. The options are here already.
You are on the Fediverse, a community centered primarily around free, open source, federated software watching every normie on the internet abandon one corpo playpen for another corpo playpen. Of course we’re upset about it.
I think Bluesky is currently better than twitter, I have absolutely no faith that it will remain that way.
Except that voter sexism isn’t what kept her out of the office. She won the popular vote by 3 million. That means people voted for her. The electoral college is at fault here.
I bought a 2 year old refurbished Z Fold 2 two years ago and it’s still going strong. If you treat your device with respect you’ll have no trouble.
Nice.
I came in here to post about having a copy of Titus Burkhardt’s Alchemy tome and DKMU Assault On Reality but I think yours might take the cake instead, as well as possibly including both of those texts.
This also may explain why Nintendo can’t implement competent networking features to save their lives.
Literally any other politician I could believe would be stupid enough to rile everyone up about tariffs but still be hesitant to pull the trigger on it out of fear of the economic repercussions.
Trump straight up doesn’t understand the repercussions, will fire anyone who tries to explain them to him, and has no reservations whatsoever about pulling any triggers that he can get his lil fingies around.
Ah of course they did
Maybe the one intelligent decision this group has ever made
