That’s along the lines of what people said in response to me claiming since about two years ago that he’d be charged with anything at all before the next general election and yet here we are. You’re not being realistic, you’re being pessimistic. The shithead fucked with the system, they’re going to make sure he can’t hold a public office again and even republicans that are upholding their public facade of support are chomping at the bit behind closed doors for his conviction.

I know a lot of people are disillusioned with the system because the wheel of justice has been grinding slowly but it has also been grinding thoroughly. You’ve got a bit of a point there I’ll give you that but it’s an apple to oranges comparison, unless you’re intentionally trying to cause them to crash by not helping them fix their car. The person I originally replied to is advocating intentionally trying to cause a crash.

Legally you are correct but ethically you are wrong. If they include false data that causes a crash, everyone that intentionally contributed that data is morally at fault. You don’t get to wash your hands of it just because the business is the one legally liable for it.
