@[email protected] A great place we’ve discovered a couple of years ago, but could try only today. And it’s definitely approved!
@[email protected] it is. My wife got another kind of cake, but it was over before I could take my phone for the photo 😆
@[email protected] great foods!
@[email protected] it is. Or, better, it was 😉
@[email protected] I’ve been delaying this for months. Now, it’s time to send it, before it will be too late.
I think I’ll disclose the contents of this e-mail, but only when everything well be over or sorted out.
@[email protected] I’m glad to know it’ll be useful. I’ve performed some tests on my test instance - I’ll be upgrading the BSD Cafe in the coming weeks.
@[email protected] great article, thank you for sharing it!
@[email protected] It depends - maybe Matrix, or Mattermost, or anything open source and that you can self host
@[email protected] yes, this is a great example
@[email protected] as it’s been for the Swiss government, they just look at the “numbers” or “engagement”. And we’re not so many, comparing to X or other platforms.
Still, I think a public entity (or similar) shouldn’t look at the numbers but at the service and its peculiarities.
@[email protected] …what Mastodon, Lemmy, Gotosocial, snac2, etc. are. - from my point of view.
@[email protected] I believe there has been a misunderstanding: no one is saying we should go back to websites, but rather to open social platforms where users can have control over their own data, which is exactly what the Fediverse is about. And this is precisely why I say that, even if an instance doesn’t generate enough engagement (see what happened with the official Swiss instance, which was shut down on 30 September), this communication channel should still be maintained.
So I think we are on the same wavelength…
@[email protected] Thank you. Unfortunately, those good compositions don’t come out often.
