Couldn’t agree more with you OP. As someone who often got discouraged from posting on Reddit, I’ve been making an effort to post more here and all the responses have been great. I think it helps that we’re all new here and all on this weird journey together. That being said, I’m so happy to be here with all of you!

6·1 year agoReplying from Mlem now, really digging it so far. Can’t wait to see what’s coming in the future!
I certainly don’t think Reddit is going away forever, but I do think it will push a lot of the OG users out for sure. I just deleted my 10 yr. old account tonight and am just finding out about Lemmy.
As sad as I am to see it go, I’m excited to be a part of what’s next!
I’ve always been a lurker on that other website, but I’m here to participate. So happy to be apart of the new Lemmy journey!
