Use wg-easy has a dead simple web ui then just send your friends a link to wireguard downloads page and a copy of the their .conf file it has an import button.
I just tell them its the app you need to connect to my network. True enough and I’ve never had anyone have much issues.
Are you saying that it does work with open suse tumbleweed with the stock kernel?
I havent run opensuse much as a server but am always looking at it and Arch.
Probably going to switch to Arch eventually because the arch wiki is just the best docs I’ve found.
If you’re not relying on say a closed source driver that needs to compile for each kernel update you should have no issues there.
If you set up btrfs snapshots to run on updates then you could always just roll back if there’s a bad one. That’s how my arch laptop is set up.
Personally wouldn’t use Debian testing over arch or tumbleweed though. I think there’s something to be said for being on the same packages as the maintaners and not a testing version.
I do actually wish I could have a decimal place on my truck thermostat. 20 is always too cold and 21 too hot in the winter. And if I change it to F for the increased resolution it’ll change my speedo to miles and shit. Damn future.
Yeah I don’t know a ton about EV’s because I need to be able to drive 500km+ on a tank for work and life out here. Be kinda cool to have one as a work truck someday though be handy to have that much power available for running things.
Gasoline works better in cold climates than diesel. But once you get around -20 to -30°C and colder all vehicles will need an engine block heater to start reliably. The oil gets too thick.
And the batteries start to freeze if they have a slight drain. So lots of the time if you don’t run your vehicle for a week or two you’ll need a new battery because the lead acids freeze and are ruined when their voltage drops.
I think it will be tricky but not impossible to mitigate the effects of extreme cold on battery life. All the cabin heat is made by the EV battery anyways right?
I mean I doubt it. But if you’re in the ocean you probably have more of an incentive to keep that going since it could be your ass pretty easily.

So apparently they changed the law in Canada in 2012 and now for noncommercial sharing you could be held liable for up to 5000$ for all works not per work. Commercial is per work. So I doubt anyone has been got for non-commerical. But I do know they come done hard on commercial sharing.

O’keefes working hands are what I use. Doesn’t leave me all greasy, doesn’t have and smell I can notice and definitely helps with dry skin. I just use it on my whole body.

What are you even proposing anyways? I am against government oppression and copyright law in general. All private property is theft from the commons. But in the meantime I will use a VPN because I trust Mullvad in Sweden more than I trust my own ISPs.
If I was committing crimes that were more serious then I would not use a VPN I would use a more robust security model.
My ISP is not powerless without government. They have massive power, they control 1/3rd of all cellular and internet communications. And like I said also control large amounts of satellite TV and cable broadcasting.
Well there are only three isps here and yes I understand what you are saying but. It never gets as far as government force it doesn’t have too. The ISP will drop me.
Also the ISP is the media company lots of the time, and its only a crime that will go to court and win if I made money distributing copyrighted material.
I don’t want my ISP to know much about what I’m doing either. They aren’t trustworthy, they often get caught illegally shaping traffic and such too.
I’m saying that sharing the same DNA is not what I meant by connected. I meant a real-time connection between thinking beings, no DNA required. Sharing DNA is a connection but not the connection I was talking about.

But you asked what spirituality is and I told you my definition of it. I’m not trying to debate the mysteries of the universe with you just explain what a word means to me and lots of other people.

Here’s an example of some spiritual thoughts based on my best understanding of science. I don’t necessarily believe in any of them.
We think of space as empty but it isn’t. The entire universe is completely filled with either matter or energy (gravitational waves, electromagnetic waves, etc.) So we know that technically we are all literally connected.
One conception of god is a universal consciousness. I think that consciousness arises as an emergent property of matter. ie once we have enough neurons connected and sensory organs we start to develop a sense of self and memories and imagination. Maybe we are all just tiny parts of a universal consciousness unable to perceive our place in the whole.
Is it true, probably not. But its nice to think about sometimes.
Another spiritual belief some people like to have is that this entire reality is merely a simulation. Tech bros like to have it and Christians believe it too, even if they don’t realize it.
So spiritual beliefs aren’t necessarily anti-science, but they posit on things beyond our knowledge of the natural world. They are “super” natural. Possibly unknowable. No matter how advanced our scientific understanding becomes there will always be more we don’t know the answer too.
Catholics aren’t considered christian to these american sects. The KKK has always been anti-catholic considering them loyal to the pope rather than to america or god.

Well I think it does have to do with the supernatural or at the very least the belief that there is something “more” out there. If someone tells me they are spiritual I assume they do have a vague supernatural belief whether it be a vague interconnectedness of all living things to more specific things like reincarnation or a soul. Or “hippy” things like crystal energy or empaths or similar.
But religious is a prescribed set of beliefs and doctrines and usually an organization like Catholics or Hindu or different Muslim sects. If someone tells me they are religious I would ask them oh, what religion? And the answer would give me a pretty good idea of their beliefs.
So most religious people are spiritual but not all spiritual people are religious.
I’m an atheist but I’m programmed catholic and still can’t help but think that maybe there is someway we’re all connected or somethjng more to all of this. Of course I think if such a thing exists that it is then real and natural and could eventually be quantified at least in theory.
I use a VPN to stop work camps I stay at from knowing what porn I watch, to stop media companies from sending me copyright infringement notifications, and to stop public wifis from having as much info on me.
Its all about threat model. If you’re concerned with government actors then you need to be more secure than just a VPN.
My countries intelligence agency is not working with media companies like that. The cops and courts would eventually enforce some order against me if it ever went to court but more likely is my ISP just ditches me as a customer if I get too many strikes.
The goal is not zero hierarchy necessarily but that all hierarchies should be justified as necessary, limited in scope, and voluntary.
Like if we’re sailing on a boat in the ocean someone has to be the captain and call the shots so that quick effective action can be taken especially in emergencies. However once we get to port we should be able to elect a new captain if the current one is a being a dick.
