    It’s crazy, they really think legalese is akin to magic spells. If they just say the right words they can get whatever they want. How do they not have the thought process, “if this worked, everyone would be doing it”?

      SovCits have Facebook pages full of other SovCits saying it works. They’re lying of course, either because they’re selling something or for the attention and praise of their peers, but they constantly hear that this works for others.

        I’ve learned these people like to live in a fantasy land. They go around making these posts and it makes this fantasy and these things feel like they are real and working. The bigger the community and more posts the better it makes them feel.

        Eventually the times comes to follow through on these things and then the movements fall apart whether it be flat earth, vaccine denial, or election denials, truth will eventually prevail and these losers will find some other cause to whine about.

      Or even, “if this worked, how come no one telling me about it has shown me that it’s worked for them?”

      It’s like they watch court shows and think the lawyers and judge are casting legal spells at each other in an epic legal Harry Potter Voldemort battle.
