I’ve been able to play cyberpunk and the witcher in HDR, also elite dangerous. I have to use a separate tty where I launch gamescope, and have to boot with a patched kernel on a separate bootloader entry. It’s not ideal, certainly, but it does work and the experience is good once I did get it working.
It even works in Plasma 6 when using nested Gamescope, but it has a bug that breaks VRR/Freesync no matter if it’s in DRM mode or nested. The only way I could get both to work was using experimental AMD color management on the newest kernel + patched gamescope. It’s so unstable I see it as not worth it, and HDR doesn’t change all that much. Adaptive sync is much more important to me so it can suck it until it’s fixed and usable without all the gymnastics
