After UK Defence Secretary Ben Wallace said ?We’re not Amazon?, meaning that Ukrainians should be more grateful for the help they have been given, a lot of key points that need to be highlighted right now hung in the air. Now, at a time when Ukraine is at a crucial stage of the war for its existence.

Very well said. Title is not enough to say what the whole article says to your heart.

While the west’s best suffer is money, Ukraine biggest price to join NATO and democracy again is Ukrainian lives, wounded citizens, destroyed cities. Who has paid bigger price than Ukraine has.

It is insulting to say “We are not amazon”. There are more classy ways if you want to reject something because maybe your budget has reached is peak. But this response to Zelensky was really not classy. And the response was just on point.

If NATO expects gratitude for providing ammo & equipment, Ukraine should expect the moon for putting its people’s lives on the line.

It’s not Ukraine that’s ungrateful, its NATO who are getting their job done for them on the cheap.

I will never blame NATO for not joining its troops into the war as that would cause original WW3 and escalate I don’t know how much, as NATO is a defensive force not an offensive one and the world expects it to behave as such, including countries like China.

But representatives of NATO being ungrateful against Ukraine and responding in insulting ways is just so un-classy and insulting. Like … show some respect.
