McConnell bristled when Brennan confronted him about endorsing Trump despite denouncing him on the Senate floor a few years ago, as other reporters have also tried to do in recent weeks.

“You need to get better research. I was asked that question three years ago, if he were the nominee would I support him, and I said ‘yeah,’ because the voters of my party across the country have made a decision. As the Republican leader of the Senate, obviously I’m going to support the nominee of our party,” he explained.

I’m honestly living in a constant state of horror that fully half (at the very, very least) of the politicians we have in this goddamn country are either fully and willfully ignorant of the process by which the NSDAP rose to power in 1930s Germany, or understand the situation and are actively aiding and abetting the Trumpians.

Yeah, I’ve seen that, and I’m also floored that this isn’t just broadcast everywhere, always. They fucking published their playbook for anyone to look at… and hardly anyone can be bothered to fucking look. And even then, a lot of people dismiss it as sensationalism.

Willful ignorance is a hell of a drug.

Unfortunately The people who own our media would be doing much better for themselves under that plan.
CNN and NYT were both bought out by billionaires that support Trump.
That’s why every time Trump says or does something incredibly asinine you always see an article about why it’s “bad news for Biden”.

Eh you’re probably right. What’s the worst that could happen?
