OP, we need an explanation. What did you think of when posting this?

Not the OP, but doesn’t the carriage turn back into a pumpkin at midnight? And if she was still inside… well, have you seen that episode of Invincible where one of the heroes tries to Ant-Man explode a villain, but he’s too tough? 🤢

Ya, but have You seen The Boys? Similar situation, ends differently. Also starts very differently.

Every episode of every season, and Gen V too! Brilliant shows. Karl Urban’s best role yet, no question, and I love the dude that plays Hughie 😁

      Doomsday clock…

Basicly scientists from around the world take into account the enviroment, wars, nuclear armaments, and world politics crunch some numbers and guesstimate how close we are to end of the world at any given moment.

So as of right now at any given moment we are potentially 90 seconds away from us obliterating ourself ( doesn’t always have to be nukes, could be an environmental catastrophe)

Listen to Iron Maiden’s “2 Minutes to Midnight” to get an idea

It’s nukes. An environmental catastrophe doesn’t happen at those timescales :D

The doomsday clock is symbolic with the minutes (or seconds) to midnight symbolizing how close we are to doomsday. Traditionally, that has meant nuclear war, but I believe more recently, they’ve factored in climate change

Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, but my understanding is basically an attempt at accounting for all civilization-collapsing-level catastrophic events. Maybe not global, but massive-scale.
