I’ve seen a lot of conflicting information on the topic, so I’m curious if there is an updated official policy that I haven’t been able to find.

Ha, well, this post’s thread is a decent example of it. There are 4 separate links that have been provided. Specifically, it has been said to submit features to bugs.kde.org with “wishlist” selected in the severity drop down, and to submit features to discuss.kde.org. It could just be that there’s numerous supported ways, and they are all monitored, but it is a little confusing to have multiple alternatives. Previous to this thread, though, the conflicting information that I was referring to was mostly what I read in older forum posts of people asking similar questions.
I get how it can be confusing… I guess the point is that the actual feature request goes on bugzilla, but prior to posting that it is a good idea to discuss your idea with other people somewhere (be it here on lemmy, on discuss.kde.org, on r/kde, or elsewhere).
That makes sense! Thanks! Out of curiosity, if one were to find this information, where would they be officially expected to go? Perhaps something could be changed to improve it’s visibility or clarity?
