Eh, if every piece of shit person was totally eradicated from mention of their good parts, we wouldn’t have anywhere near as many artists, musicians, authors, and politicians left to point at for good things.
People gotta face the fact that humans in general are, on average, pretty shitty. The extremes of serial killers and hitler level evil are just as rare as amazing human beings like Mr Rogers. The rest of us are a mix of many flaws, with enough virtues to keep us from being useless.
OJ, for being an idiot, a murderer (most likely), an abuser, and a bad actor was still a good athlete and served a solid role in racial acceptance in the US. It’s okay to recognize the good things he represented in the past.
