    Oh it did? I had tried to use it like 5 years ago. I guess it was too technical to really take off

      I think that was the exact issue. I’ve had people tell me lemmy is too technical for them. Tech illiteracy is actually a huge issue in the health sciences fields at all levels. In fact, a lot of the higher echelons (like research doctors) are worse the higher you go. One of our IT people joked to me that doctor brains are full of doctor things and have no idea how to connect to the correct printer or not click on a phishing email. It’s been one of my biggest barriers to starting hcw communities on here.
