I feel like it could have done with one more chapter. I don’t care who he ends up with (much), but his choice had no impact. Everyone found out they’d need to share the guy they like with 5 other girls, and they were more interested in the cake. One chapter to show what this relationship would be like, even a little, would be a godsend.
Yeah, it almost feels like it is the start of a new series in which there is an explicit harem situation and they are all competing for Daisuke. I am not that invested in who he ends up with as I didn’t feel like he really connected with any of the girls more than another, but this ending just feels a bit too open ended (and they almost left sensei out!).
