An apparent screenshot of text messages between Grisham and first lady [Melania Trump appeared on a large screen as Grisham spoke. The messages show Grisham asking Melania Trump on Jan. 6, 2021, if the first lady wanted to tweet that there is no place for lawlessness and violence.
Grisham said Melania Trump simply responded, “No.”
Grisham said she was the first senior staffer to resign that day, as the DNC crowd applauded.
“I couldn’t be a part of the insanity any longer,” she said.

I like Melania because she’s given Donnie more grief than anyone else.
She refused to move to Washington until he gave her a better deal, then proceeded to make ‘cyber bullying’ her First Lady initiative.
She won’t so much as hold his hand in public.
Sure, she’s a loathsome human being in her own right, but anyone who makes Donnie squirm is a pal o’ mine.
She did fuck all with her initiative. Her slogan “Be best” was a dig at Michelle Obama’s “Be better” simply so that she could one up her.
She is against cyber bullying the same way I’m against carbs.
Lol I never knew that about the “Be Best” slogan trying to one-up Michelle Obama. I always assumed Melania was brain damaged and the people around her were just like “sure… Be Best… why not?”

My personal opinion is that she didn’t want to do the thing, so she did it in a way that would embarrass her dear hubby.
“the same way I’m against carbs” is instantly now going to be one of my commonly used phrases.
My other favorite: The religious right are only Christians the same way that I’m a vegetarian – on Sundays only
