Hey folks, appologies if this has been asked before (although surprisingly I couldn’t find a similar post) - what solarpunk book, film, game, tv, etc recommendations does every have?
I’m only just discovering the genre, looking for some good starting points!
‘Woman on the Edge of Time’ by Marge Piercy is the most solarpunk novel I’ve read so far. Fiction, that is. And it’s early '70s!

Check out John and Nancy Todd’s Bioshelters, Oceans Arks, City Farming from 1984 which isn’t fiction but practical design ideas that are still relevant if you want “solarpunk”. Also look at Bill and Helga Olkowski’s work with the Integral Urban House and the City People’s Book of Raising Food from back in the 1970s.
