      That’s the most pointless piece of data I’ve ever read - why would you include it? I now have problems accepting the veracity of the others; and possibly the mindset of the compiler.

      There’s not a single fish that gets farmed outside of farms. Fish farms are definitionally CAFOs. They’re also terrible for the environment and raise poor quality fish.

      But not all fish you’d be able to buy is farm fish. Most of it is, and the amount of non farm fish is diminishing.

      You can get non CAFO farm fish but generally these are at niche restaurants that serve things like “fresh caught catfish” and have a pond behind the restaurant. And even the small business those places do is often too much for their little pond and as much as half will be bought from a supplier.

        Not in areas where fishing is a big industry. So, much of the coasts.

      There are wild caught fish but those don’t count as farmed. We don’t have a lot of wild caught cows on the other hand.
