Because it’s absolutely essential that he’s present for the match, right?
Asking people to give up their lives, hobbies, and anything that brings them joy when they go into politics isn’t the way to get quality candidates.
Not going to a football match doesn’t mean you have to give up everything that makes you happy.
If that’s literally the only thing that’d make him happy, he’s got much bigger problems in life.
He’s an Arsenal fan. Asking him not to watch them play is just unrealistic.
