    That’s a pretty steep annual income minimum if the goal is to attract digital nomads.

    oh, apparently there are 60 something countries with digital Nomad Visas. I didn’t know there were so many.

    but a lot of them have pretty steep income requirements.

    a few of them don’t. uriguay, saint lucia, albania,sri lanka.

    so many of these digital Nomad countries with high income requirements or application costs have cheap visas or visa-free agreements for several months stay though, so I don’t think it’s worth it to go through the trouble of applying for a specific digital Nomad Visa. unless you know for sure you’re going to live there for a long time.

      That’s a good point. I’ve been nomading for a year and haven’t needed one. Usually you can extend a tourist visa once for a small fee too. But I’m also from the US and I’ve met people from other countries who can’t stay as long as I can, ie 2 weeks instead of 3 months.
