Well, technically anywhere there is water and sunlight, a hydrogen car may be viable, but I’m still not convinced of the advantages over battery cars, which are already viable anywhere there is sunlight.
Hydrogen seems better suited as a replacement for natural gas in high temperature industrial processes than it does as portable energy storage for transportation.
I suppose if you live in California and never plan on leaving the state, a hydrogen car may be viable.
