The result marks the first loss on a state ballot for measures to enshrine abortion in state constitution since the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision in 2022.
I can get why some people voted for Trump. Like the economy, not feeling listened to, lackluster Harris/Biden, etc. (not me, I voted Socialist, by the way.)
But I am really really surprised at how these abortion measures are being rejected.
Every woman I know thinks abortion is a women’s right, so I just can’t wrap my head around how so many measures are being rejected.
And on another note, ranked choice voting was killed in my state. Like WTF? Who in the world doesn’t want ranked choice? Ugh! lol
