  • You’re making up a magic bullshit definition of ban evasion that ignores the intent of the action.

No, that’s the definition that admins go by when it comes to ban evasion. Which is why I haven’t been banned from the instances I’m on. They are in charge of what a ban evasion is, not you.

And to reiterate: you are practicing ban evasion. Not on this instance, but on other instances.

What instance have I posted on that I have been banned from that counts as ban evasion? The big ban was from lemmy.world. And I don’t post on lemmy.world. And in fact, blocked that instance. Because .world is a toxic shithole now.

What community have I been banned from that I have posted in? The admins on my instances totally know who I am. They have admitted that I haven’t evaded any bans, which is why I’m still here.

Just because YOU don’t like that, that’s not my issue. You’re not an admin that gets to make that call.

Part of the awesomeness of the fediverse is that we don’t have to stay in one place. If you get banned from an instance, you can go to another. That’s the point.

Also, if I wanted to ban evade, I would just come up with an alt name, on an alt instance, or even the same instance and keep posting.

I don’t do that. The admins know I don’t do that.

Here’s the thing: The admins of the instances I’m on, support my right to be on their instance. Accept it. I’m not going anywhere.

Personally block me whenever you see my name if you want. I totally accept that.

Oh! And I do have some more awesome news: I actually just created MY OWN INSTANCE as well.

And just started a new website and domain name and I’ll be creating another instance based on that website/domain name. And I’ll be running some mastadon stuff from it as well.

I’m going all in on the entire fediverse line of products too. It’s going to be what I do with my time.

I’m youngish, retired, fit and healthy, with no bosses or expectations. I don’t have to answer to anyone. And I can’t be canceled. So I have lots of free time.

Let me guess, you think that’s “ban evasion” as well, right?! lol

I don’t advocate anything illegal. Never have, never would. I don’t even post stuff that’s radical–Lemmy is just mad because I’m not a liberal.

So if this name does get banned, I’ll come up with another. And I’ll create another instance. And another. And another. Then we can talk about ban evasion, friend.

So it’s probably best that you just block me, and/or ignore me, and move on.

    I’m. Not. Going. Away.

  • is using uselessly less efficient methods of operation, out of a combination of spite, and the desire to meet the project 2025 quota of turning people over to those who will kiss the ring.

That’s YOUR opinion. And it’s fine for you to have that opinion. It’s not my opinion. And it’s not the opinion of most of the voters who voted for him. Which is why he won and democrats lost.

You are like a con-man who thinks everyone else is also a fraud because you can’t imagine people thinking drastically different than you, about the same things.

Not true. I have said many times, to you and others, that you are free to your opinions. I just don’t share them. Lemmy celebrates diversity of opinion and so do I.

You are reading WAY too much into this. I didn’t vote for Trump. He’s president. This is happening. No matter how unhappy you are about it.

You don’t agree with his decision. I do. And when the next democrat comes back into office, that person can reverse this policy and let people work from home.

I actually don’t care all that much one way or the other. I’m happy they have to go into the office. But I won’t be upset if they get to work from home.

It’s really not that big of a deal to me.

You seem determined to get me in some kind of “gotcha!” moment or are trying to prove something. I have been transparent in my beliefs both before and after the election. My post history under this instance and other instances it public.

I didn’t vote for Trump. I didn’t vote for Biden.

I voted Socialist Workers Party. And I will continue to do that. That doesn’t mean I disagree or agree with every decision either administration has and will make.

I think it’s hilarious that people are getting so worked up about having to go into the office.

If someone doesn’t like the rules of the job, get another one. You didn’t want Trump to win. The majority of voters did. They disagree with you.

And in four years the tables will probably turn. None of this is the end of the world. I promise.

    Thanks, friend!

  • That feels like backpedaling to me.

Backpedaling from what? I’m not saying anything different than I have ever said.

Can you explain why you find it interesting?

Youngest press secretary ever. She’s 27 and look where she is. That’s interesting to me.

    Do you have any credentials

What are you talking about? I’m a guy on Lemmy posting news articles. You do realize what Lemmy is, right? You can post any article you find interesting. You don’t have to have “credentials.” lmao

Do you have any sources of information other than the journalistically bankrupt propaganda machine

Firstly, I don’t think they are a " journalistically bankrupt propaganda machine." That’s your opinion. I don’t share it. Secondly, I post plenty of articles from other news orgs as well. Feel free to look at my post history: https://sh.itjust.works/u/UniversalMonk?page=1&sort=New&view=Posts

Do you have anything of value to share, or is it all “just interesting” and nothing more?

No, I have nothing of value to share. I find something personally interesting, and then I share it. You are not obligated to read anything that you don’t find interesting.

If you don’t respond you’re admitting that your ideas don’t stand up to scrutiny.

I have no problem responding. But I also have no obligation to explain anything to you.

If you don’t like my articles, feel free to ignore them and/or post your own. You can post them to this community or any others you want to.

    Donkon, amiko!

  • I don’t think working in the office is more wasteful. YOU think that, but I don’t. And since the majority of fed workers don’t work from home (your point), this won’t make much difference.

The great thing about America is if we don’t like working somewhere, we can always go somewhere else.

If working from home is sooooo efficient like you say, then there will be plenty of companies that offer that option, so these fed workers can quit and join those super-efficient work-from-home companies.

Be sure to contact them on their LinkedIn sites and offer them information about your company. Maybe they can become your super efficient co-workers.

    Dankon, amiko!
