I don’t disagree with anything you’re saying but do remember that Hitler ended up dissolving (violently) the SA in 1934 due to how politically destabilizing they were. This bunch of fanatics absolutely is an ace card up Trump’s sleeve but I expect most GOPers will want these folks kept far away from anything important.
They’re likely going to be super relevant in 2028 though and I wouldn’t be surprised if we have openly armed “election overseers”.
