Is their greed for even more money and power that strong that they have to continue ruining our country well after the average person is deep into their retirement years?
I honestly have only one explanation for this, and people may not like it. I think people like him truly believe in what they do, the truly believe that they have a cause, that they keep doing it until death and make sure they pass the torch to their successors.
