Hello new people joining the #Mastodon and #Lemmy sides of the #Fediverse! How did you find yourself here? What was the specific point that lead you to make the jump?

I heard of lemmy when the whole reddit thing happened. I had heard of the fediverse a while back with mastodon but twitter-like platforms don’t interest me so I didn’t check it out. I can’t say I’ve made any jump/migration. I’m not one for internet drama so I haven’t taken my reddit account behind the barn in a fit of rage or anything. Currently using both with the goal to phase out reddit as content improves on the communities accessible via lemmy.
