Holiday season 2024 solidified it: we really need to stop going along with the lie that streaming is better than physical media.

Disney had several blu rays early on with unskippable ads. Even my Disney obsessed mother who normally doesn’t care about stuff like that stopped buying Disney Blu rays for years because of that bullshit
