I’ve previously postulated in other fora, that the country of New Zealand is named after the Danish island of Sealand. To which a Dutch person corrected me, because of the usage of the letter Z it was obviously named after the Dutch province. Needless to say it quickly evolved into a battle of witts, culminating in threats of alternative, and quite aggressive, applications of something called a klomp and a retort on the blandness of Gouda and suggestions for other orifices in which said cheese could be stuffed.
Anyhoo, if we could not start this discussion again it would be much appreciated… I would like to be able to go buy hagelslag and those weird little liquorice pieces with bee wax shells.
