President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration on Monday is forecast to be the coldest in 40 years.

Donald Trump’s January 20, 2025, inauguration is expected to be the coldest in 40 years.

Temperatures are forecast to be around 18–19°F (-7 to -8°C) at noon, and wind chills between 5–10°F (-15 to -12°C).

By evening, wind chills could drop to -1°F (-18°C).

Historic cold weather has previously disrupted ceremonies and parades.

Honestly, I find that darkly hilarious, and (I’m guessing) an accurate representation of the author’s disassociative “this is fine; I am fine with this” mental state that so many of us are experiencing right now.
