I just threw these together on Sunday with what we had on hand. The wings at the top are honey maple lime, and the ones on the bottom are sambal.

Imma need the recipe for honey maple lime wings. That sounds god damn delicious
I just threw it together but here is the process. Salt and peppered some wings and cook them in the air fryer until crispy (or whichever cooking method you prefer). Meanwhile, mix together 1 big dollop of whole grain mustard, about half a cup of maple syrup, juice of 1 lime, and salt to taste. Adjust according to how sweet or sour you want it. Cook in a pan over medium heat and keep stirring until it thickens (you should be able to run a spatula through it and leave a “trail” that fills in after a second or so). When it’s thick toss the wings in a bowl with the sauce.
Thanks! I’ve definitely got to try this sometime!
If you don’t have an air fryer the Kenji method in the oven works great https://www.seriouseats.com/the-best-buffalo-wings-oven-fried-wings-recipe
Thankfully I have one, but I honestly may try this just for the experience!
Yes! I’ve done this before and it works really well. The only drawback is that you need to start them at least 8 hours ahead, but that’s not an issue if you know you’re going to be cooking wings.
