The remains of Sam Nordquist, 24, a transgender man, were found after he had been reported missing. The district attorney in Ontario County, N.Y., called the circumstances surrounding the death “beyond depraved.”

If you want to stop this kind of thing from happening, it means speaking up when folks around you express hate for other subgroups, whether that is sexual, racial, or religious.

      Well yeah, they couldn’t possibly stop panicking until he was dead and no longer a threat. They probably feel like heroes saving the world from an enemy that took a month to kill.
