Oh to clarify, I used Amazon quite a bit prior to February. It’s just that up here there’s been a good network to find good domestic alternatives to permanently switch. I’d applaud any Americans that can find Canadian businesses to supplement their shopping because real market impact require sustained changes to spending habits.
I think the day long refusal to buy is awesome but if there’s a spike of purchases on Saturday that equal out the lost revenue from tomorrow the long term effects on those company’s bottom lines will be minimal.
Don’t take this as me discouraging action tomorrow though! Every bit helps and I am quite understanding as to the financial difficulties individuals and families may face trying to make permanent change!
