That was a somewhat plausible argument to make before October 7th 2023.
Now nobody denies Israel is occupying Gaza. There is open talk in Israeli politics about occupying it for year.
Yet they don’t acknowledge the legal obligations that come with being an occupation force. Obligations like allowing humanitarian aid.
